We hope that you and your families are doing well during these difficult times. We want to provide an update regarding upcoming Central Nassau activities. It is the CN Executive Board’s plan to play a spring intramural softball/baseball season at our neighborhood fields (Salisbury, Carman Ave, and Hearth). The board is hoping for first pitch to be thrown in mid-April. The safety of our families is a high priority, which is why we will be following the guidance of our local, state and federal leadership during these unprecedent times.

It is also the board’s goal to host clinics to help our young athletes prepare for the upcoming season. We will be opening spring softball/ baseball online registration in early 2021. We will send out a notice once the registration is open and when we have additional clinic details.

As it relates to our basketball program, we have not and do not expect to receive permits from the East Meadow School District to allow the kids to play this winter due to COVID-19 safety measures.

If you have any questions please feel free to email centralnassau@outlook.com and we will try our best to answer your questions.

Thank you again for your continued interest and patience. We want to wish everyone a happy, healthy and safe holiday season.

We hope everyone enjoyed the basketball season and we thank all who volunteered in the program for the 2019-2020 season.

In preparation for the next basketball season, we are asking coaches to bring basketballs and any other equipment they may have down to the Hearth Lane shed on Thursday June 25 between 6:00 and 7:00, so we can store the equipment.

At this point we are hoping to have a 2020-2021 Basketball program and we are awaiting permits from the East Meadow School district.  As soon as we have additional information, we will pass it along.

Please everyone have a safe and healthy summer.

Update from CNAA
by posted 06/01/2020

Good afternoon

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.  In the best interest of public safety, Central Nassau Athletic Association has made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 baseball/softball season. We apologize for any inconvenience this cancelation may have caused, however your health and well-being is our paramount concern.

Refunds will be given to families that have already registered. If payment was made by check, CNAA will administer a check in return. We will be working with a credit card processor on refunds for families that paid by credit card.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these uncertain times.

Enjoy your summer! See you next Spring

Best regard,

Joseph Aloi

President CNAA
