A message from Central Nassau Basketball
by posted 06/22/2020

We hope everyone enjoyed the basketball season and we thank all who volunteered in the program for the 2019-2020 season.

In preparation for the next basketball season, we are asking coaches to bring basketballs and any other equipment they may have down to the Hearth Lane shed on Thursday June 25 between 6:00 and 7:00, so we can store the equipment.

At this point we are hoping to have a 2020-2021 Basketball program and we are awaiting permits from the East Meadow School district.  As soon as we have additional information, we will pass it along.

Please everyone have a safe and healthy summer.

Update from CNAA
by posted 06/01/2020

Good afternoon

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.  In the best interest of public safety, Central Nassau Athletic Association has made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 baseball/softball season. We apologize for any inconvenience this cancelation may have caused, however your health and well-being is our paramount concern.

Refunds will be given to families that have already registered. If payment was made by check, CNAA will administer a check in return. We will be working with a credit card processor on refunds for families that paid by credit card.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these uncertain times.

Enjoy your summer! See you next Spring

Best regard,

Joseph Aloi

President CNAA

Update from CNAA
by posted 05/05/2020

Dear Central Nassau Athletic Association Family and our Community,

As you are aware our spring season has been postponed in response to the Corona virus Pandemic. However, we fully intend to open our fields and start the season once it becomes safe for the whole community. Given the circumstances it's possible that the season could extend into the summer. If the season is cancelled we will issue you a refund or you can choose to use it as credit for next year. CNAA appreciates your continued support and understanding during these difficult times.

We will continue to coordinate with public health experts and government officials to determine safe protocols for resuming our season. We will keep you informed of any changes as soon as they happen as we develop the appropriate course for the upcoming season and events. This remains a complicated and rapidly evolving situation that reminds us that we are all part of a broader community with a responsibility to look out for one another. We are grateful for your understanding and for being part of our Baseball/Softball family.

Additionally this Friday 5/8 the Town of Hempstead is having a car parade at 10:30am at Point Lookout for all little leagues. Can make up signs, drive around and beep horns for the parade. Open to anyone who can make it there.

On behalf of everyone at Central Nassau Athletic Association we hope you remain safe and healthy and that we'll see you soon on the field.

Thank You,

Joe Aloi

President

 2.  Please do not arrive/drop off children before 6:15 (except Mondays which is 7:30) as there in no one at the doors to let the children into the school
 3.  As we begin to have winter weather, a quick reminder that there is only parking on the outside of the circle at Bowling Green School.  This is a safety issue, as we can not have children coming between cars parked illegally on the inside of the dark circle with cars moving in the circle.  We want to avoid this dangerous situation.
 4.  There is no food or drinks allowed in the gym.  The East Meadow School District, who provides us the gyms at no cost, has asked us to remind everyone of this.
